  All the content that makes up the “book-play” inspires the creation of the performance, but it is through the actress’s expression, her dialogue with the children, and the creative materials that the content gains significance and value through the theme and emotions explored.

  This production aims to guide the audience toward the expression and internal recognition of emotions, making them relatable on the one hand, and raising awareness on the other. Making them relatable, because we all feel the same things at any given moment; and raising awareness, because reflection and self-awareness help us manage those very emotions.

  The keen interest shown by teachers and educators in this book and its warm reception within the developmental psychology community served as the impetus for staging this production. The deciding factor? The long months during which our daily lives were disrupted by the pandemic. Bringing comfort to those who are struggling in silence and raising awareness of what happens to us when we lose our inner peace is now more relevant than ever.
