Tomorrow, Clarice is going camping with her grandmother. She’s prepared everything: the tent, the sleeping bag, his plush dog, the lantern (to find lost things in the dark), and the book her grandmother will read to her, among other stories. Tales of jungle animals who shed their skin to grow, or who howl when they lose those they love. Amidst it all, she writes a (very unscientific) treatise on what it means to lose – because it wasn’t won – and to lose – because it hasn’t (yet) been found.
