A session dedicated to memory. To thought. And to everything we carry inside.

“Summer is the grandest time,” wrote Maria Isabel César Anjo. The summer of my land is hot. It smells of figs. Tastes like ripe tomatoes. Soups with bread. The summer of my land has the light of lime. The sound of cicadas. And the singing of voices. The summer of my childhood has the half-open window. It has a string hanging on the door, attached to the latch. The half-open window is a window with a door to the world, just pull the string to cross it. A session dedicated to memory. To thought. And to everything we carry inside.

Based on the book “Pensamientras” (Eugénio Roda and André da Loba, pub. Edições Eterogémeas), which is part of LU.CA’s Audience Public Library, and other books.
