CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS
OF SOPHIA DE MELLO BREYNER ANDRESEN (1919-2019)
One of the most acclaimed works by Sophie will become a musical, where actors and musicians go over the story of a girl who lives in the sea – curious about life on land -, of a boy who lives on land – curious about life at sea – and the unlikely encounter between these two worlds… This fantasy wouldn’t be complete without a friendly clarinetist dolphin, a suspicious saxophonist crab, a mysterious bassoon octopus, and so many other fantastic beings gathered under the bleak eye of the double bassist, the Sea King… Will it be possible to reach an agreement so that everyone can live in harmony?
