How do we create space for each person to speak? Does consensus matter?

In this workshop about dialogue and listening, we aim to invite participants to exercise thinking out loud. How do we make ourselves heard in a group? How do we handle different voices and ideas? Is it easy or difficult to manage silence? How do we create space for each person to speak? Does consensus matter? Is discord to be avoided? We will take on the hurry to speak and the lack of willingness to listen. “I want to speak!” How often do we speak just to hear our own ideas? These and other questions will guide a workshop that uses the exhibition An assembly of Assemblies, presented on the LU.CA middle floor, as a springboard.
