Description
In this movie session we can see (and hear) some stories that are sometimes songs and other times just sounds.
Synopsis
It seems that the older we get, the more we think about things. We gathered some thoughts in these stories that are sometimes songs and other times just sounds.
The Morning Path (Animation, dubbed in Portuguese, 3 min.)
In this moving portrayal of friendship, a girl’s journey begins when she wakes up before the morning itself is born. She embarks on a journey to wake up the morning so that the day can start for everyone, both near and far.
Sooner or Later (Animation, no dialogue, 5 min.)
A squirrel and a bat, a meeting of two worlds, two different times and routines.
The Diver (Animation, no dialogue, 4 min.)
A professional diver trains intensively, controlled by her relentless coach’s whistle. But fatigue leaves her body misshapen, and she needs the help of the masseuse to return to normal.
Cat’s Tongue (Animation, dubbed in Portuguese, 5 min.)
In a monotonous and very organised world, a curious girl longs for colour and joy, against the wishes of her strict mother. By following a strange cat, different from all the others, she discovers a bustling, lively underworld.
Paolo’s Happiness (Animation, no dialogue, 10 min.)
Paolo is a calm man who lives alone with his cat and loves to cry, because his tears are his happiness. When he feels sad, the tears comfort him. When he is happy, they bring him even more joy.
The Colour of the Rose (Animation, sung in Portuguese, 4 min.)
The colour of the rose is rose! If the rose is red, is it not a rose? Music by Capicua.
I Need to Shrink (Animation, sung in Portuguese, 4 min.)
I Need to Shrink (É Preciso que Eu Diminua) is a song from Samuel Úria’s album Carga de Ombro, which has been turned into an animated film about growing up.
Mr. Night is on Holiday (Animation, no dialogue, 2 min.)
Why is night altering the day? Well… when we don’t like something, we can change it.
