Description
Sowing democracy is like sowing a flower that we must take care of, to then harvest the seeds - or Freedom! - and thus, we can dance like a carnation to the sound of a carnation.
Synopsis
Flowers touch us in many ways: they reach our eyes with their vibrant colours, our noses with their scents, our hands when we hold them, our ears when we hear stories about them, and our hearts when they symbolize something very important to us. Fifty years ago, a carnation became the symbol of a revolution in a country that was beginning to blossom. Sowing democracy is like sowing a flower that we must take care of, to then harvest the seeds – or Freedom! – and thus, we can dance like a carnation to the sound of a carnation.
Integrated in the Programme of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of the 25 of April Revolution.
