Theatre Workshop with Cláudia Gaiolas

We’re going to show you how theatre works. You’ll learn how actors prepare their bodies and voices, and how everything that is unique to each of us becomes essential when we want to play a character. You’ll understand how our tastes, preferences, memories and emotions can be drawn upon to help us portray situations we’ve never experienced or even imagined.

Using drama games, we’ll encourage self-discovery and group exploration, and carry out improvisations that demystify the fear of looking ridiculous, build confidence, and treat everything that happens as valuable material for learning and growth. To experience doing theatre in a theatre.
