Ampla is a film showcase featuring award-winning films from the main film festivals held in Portugal. To be as inclusive as possible, all films are presented with descriptive subtitles, Portuguese Sign Language interpretation, and audio description.
The Carousel (Animation, no dialogue, 9 min.)
An emotional story about Argentinian carousel operators who have dedicated their lives to bringing fun and joy to children. A tale of perseverance and of a sense of community over individualism.

Dimitri, a biscuit knight, and his faithful friend Pépite, set off for the castle of the Biscuit King. He gives them a very important mission: to bring back the princess’s heart and win her hand. Their adventures in strange and sugary lands promise to be perilous and delicious.
