Synopsis
We arrive at the third reading of It’s not fiction, and stomachs start rumbling. So, we open the pages of a story that is akin to a kitchen counter: Chaca-chaca potato. Written and illustrated by Yara Kono, the book invites its readers to search for ingredients, wash, chop, mash, season… but that’s not all. Because cooking can be a serious matter, but it’s also loads of fun and full of surprises.
It’s not fiction reading series gives the stage to contemporary texts about subjects that matter. The reading is accompanied by images, soundscapes, and music, as different artistic expressions can deepen our understanding of a topic. At the end, we come together to talk, exchange ideas, ask questions, and collectively reveal answers.
